バック2バックのDJスタイルをベースに新たなる可能性を発信し続ける、Shin-G & Shuseiから成る次世代ダンスプロジェクト。
Ricky T”T Volt”(Overflow Remix)において本格的に海外デビュー。
続いて発表されたWill Atkinson”Slipped Disk”やJoe-E”Music Generation”の
各リミックスにおいては、ダンスフロアはもちろん、『DJ Mag』『iDJ Magazine 』といった海外主要ダンス誌からも高い支持を獲得している。
また個々の活動としてもSHIBEE”Spunky”のリミックスではUKのtrackitdownのTop100チャートで見事に第1位をマークした事を皮切りに、長年に渡ってシーンのトップに君臨するOrgan Donorsからリミックスのオファーを受け撃ち放った”Mach2″のリミックスもスマッシュ・ヒットを記録する等、海外からも注目されるアーティストへと成長した。
5周年を迎えたレギュラーパーティー「Vinylize」を始め、米DI FM内のラジオプログラム「BLAST OFF」において、その溢れんばかりのシナジー感を体験する事が可能だ。
The back-to-back DJ style of OVERFLOW’s Shin-G and SHUSEI create an unparalleled synergy in both sound and performance. This new generation dance music project utilizes that dual energy to fuse sounds across different genres and to deliver a total package of true aural and visual impact.
Over the past several years, OVERFLOW have released a number of highly notable tracks, including originals such as “Overflow Anthem”and their collaboration with The Third Man, “Rave135.” Their remixes for Ricky T’s “T Volt” and Will Atkinson’s “Slipped Disk” sent them into the international arena, marking OVERFLOW as one of Japan’s premier acts in the club music scene. Later, OVERFLOW also remixed Joe-E’s “Music Generation,” a work which garnered support from dance music publications “DJ Mag” and “iDJ Magazine.”
On their home shores, OVERFLOW are featured as a regular act at Vinylize, Tokyo’s representative hard-dance/tech-dance event for the past 6 years. More recently, a growing number of high-profile domestic gigs, including the main arena of Japan’s biggest club ageHa, indicate that it’s only a matter of time until OVERFLOW spill over into the worldwide scene.
